Bob and Kathy Hillebrand.....are stewards of Pinnacle Converting Equipment, a manufacturing
machine design and build firm in Charlotte, NC. We have been blessed since 1995 with God leading us through many
trials and showing us how to be an example of Christian business people. Acknowledging God as our CEO has made all the
difference in our lives.
Kathy came to Christ as a young girl, Bob Gave his life
to Jesus in 1997 at 37 years old after leading God on a chase with self-pride and poor priorities. Exploring the question
"What am I on earth for and what does God want from me?" during a dark period in my life led me to ask God to reveal
himself and answer my questions. I realized that God had a purpose for me but after leading a life of self direction,
although forgiven, God had to mold me a bit to fill that purpose. I opened myself to that.
I could fill pages about how I know that God is active in our lives and directing our willing souls. It hasn't
always been easy, I have the painful memory of a dog bite on my backside as a reminder to pay attention once. I have
a very painful memory of a man dying in a fire one night, the same day I forgot to call on him at God's direction. I
have warming memories of dozens of times that I did something that I felt God directed me to do and He rewarded me with evidence
beyond doubt that I was where and when He wanted me. Our work in Kenya and several experiences there are examples.
I am a man that loves to learn, work hard, and an adventure. Kathy is a woman with passion
and compassion and a God given partner. Our children, Dana, Kimberly and her husband Steve, are jewels from heaven for
us and very supportive. As a Christian, I am a work in progress and give all the praise and glory to God.
